26 year old man : left blind in one eye after ‘homophobic’ attack outside nightclub

A man was left blind in one eye after a suspected homophobic attack outside a Melbourne nightclub.
Elliott Harvey, a 26-year-old scientist, was singled out and attacked by three men at the Pheonix nightclub on May 26.

Victoria Police allege the three men pushed Mr Harvey over before punching him repeatedly on the ground, causing him to lose sight in his right eye.
He told Fairfax Media: ‘I think they particularly disliked my hair cut, having my hair up in a fountain.
