15 year old boy sang Bob Marley to nurse who held his hand as he died after 'deliberate and planned' stabbing.

A teenager held a nurse's hand and sang Bob Marley's 'Three Little Birds' as he lay dying after a 'deliberate and planned' stabbing outside his school, a court heard.

Quamari Serunkuma-Barnes, 15, was ambushed moments after he left the Capital City Academy in Willesden, North West London, at 3.22pm on January 23 this year.

The victim was stabbed at least three times in his back, shoulder and upper leg by his 15-year-old attacker, who cannot be named for legal reasons, the court heard.

The suspect denies murder.

He was taken to hospital and told senior nurse Alice Burke that he recognised the face of the knifeman and gave his first name.

Ms Burke broke down in tears at the Old Bailey when she recalled singing Bob Marley lyrics, 'Don't worry about a thing' with the youngster before he died in hospital.

She told jurors "he held [her] hand and squeezed it" as medical staff fitted a chest drain at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, central London.

"Initially he looked quite stable to me, we were chatting, he was able to give his name, we were talking," she said.

"He was quite chatty with me, he wanted to see certain people.

"He also discussed wanting to see his mum who was at the end of the bed."

Prosecutor Sally O'Neill asked: "Did you speak to him at all about what had happened?"

Ms Burke said: "I said to him what happened Quamari? Initially he said he didn't want to talk about it.
